I've enjoyed cooking and learning about food since I prepared my first recipe for my dad's birthday dinner when I was 11. I've considered food a tour director for different cultures, lifestyles, and friendships. Recently I started working at a natural food store and it has added another layer to my curiousity about food. Working there has caused me to think more consciously about what my family and I are eating and I'm gradually learning more about animal sources, local farms, and seasonal eating. My goal is learn as much as I can, meet like-minded people, and play with my food more.
